Iudex oen Sturmgewehr

Borne from a Garlean naval officer and a Hellsguard pirate turned Garlean. He had trained under the Shinobis of Doma who swore themselves to the Empire, along combined naval aptitude passed down by his parents to become a specialized soldier in the field. However, his recent assignment had him focused in the role of a bodyguard and guardian of a senator's daughter whom was rescued by the XVIIth from a collapsing and revolting province.
But events transpired that led to the sudden disappearance of said, daughter and dealt a personal blow to the Duplicarius who had, in truth, grown close to her at both the behest of his own heart and the plottings of another. Yet, there is no rest for the wicked, for new missions await for him.

Tesserarius,
Veni pyr Hamo
The battlefield is an ever chaotic and requires a steady voice to lend guidance through that chaos. One of the Tesserarius, communication officers who handle comm chatter between the squads of the Legion and the officers who dole out orders. Veni is borne Garlean pure-of-blood, a third eye to mark his heritage and an inability to wield the aether. Though noticeably, a rather young and awkward lad with a quiet, by the book's demeanour.

A rapier in a hand and magic in another, or with a sharpened axe. He is not of the capitol, but someone who joined the Empire for the prospective promise of coin, knowledge and the notion of earning your way through the ladder. The fall of the Empire did little to damper his allegiance to the Garlean people, already finding purchase with the XVIIth and impressed by the Legatus, van Samwell. This Elezen has a fondness for the possibilities that the XVIIth can bring.

A mysterious woman that was discovered and rescued from the cages of the IVth Legion during one of the XVIIth black operations against the IVth Legion in Dalmasca. A small hyur woman with raven black hair and, wings? According to the theories and rumors that circulate around the XVIIth, she was a woman who was experimented on by the IVth. After her rescue, she was inducted into the XVIIth with a warm welcome and genuine interest in her, mutations. Though, soon after her induction, she was granted the role of signifier, a war-magi rank within the XVIIth.

Augustus quo Amadeus
A curious individual, tactically minded and capable of leadership, yet not overtly ambitious as to aspire higher than his current position. By all accounts, he is considered, a suitably competent soldier and patriot of Garlemald even though he is of no considerable house. However, the allure of the XVIIth attracted him to the lands of Ul'Dah, enlisting into the service of Legatus Legionis, Stephano van Samwell.

Angelo oen Vertias
Angelo was once, a thaumaturge of Ul'Dah but had grown disillusioned with the rampant greed that governed the city and its populace. He witnessed crime from the ocassional mugging in choked alleyways to bodies in the gutter while corrupt guards turn a blind eye.
He chose the lesser of evils and defected to Garlemald, becoming a magitek pilot which in turn, eventually landed him into the XVIIth and engaging with experimental magitek.

Artyom oen Lenkov
Artyom was one of the less privileged citizens of Garlemald, no family or relative in the military and were no more than game hunters. He had decided to enlist himself into the legions to better himself and provide better for his ageing parents. He passed basic training and was deployed to the XIIth Legion. The regimented lifestyle had proved daunting for him and weighed his ambitions down, yet he persisted for his parents' sake.
However, when the empire began to collapse and the XIIth splintering. The first thing that came to his mind was to find a way back to his parents and whisk them away to safer grounds. His answer came in the form of a rumour, an independent legion formed by a member of the Popularis Party; the XVIIth.
Under the XVIIth, he serves as part of a specialized reconnaissance squad that performs as scouts and trackers; Excursors.
